Be Better.
Our Mental Health is one of the most important things we need to keep track of.
My whole life, I have struggled with my Mental Health, I wasn’t until I meet you all that I became someone who me a year ago wouldn't recognize and for that I want to give you all
I will be posting new ways to cope, heal, and be better. But If you cant wait…
You all have my number, use it when you need it.
Sunlight.
Beautiful Day Isn’t it, Gentlemen? Nowadays, we all want to be home, and stuff that even forgets how beneficial sunlight is to our mental health and outlook on life. The article I’m about to send highlights why we all love the great weather here in SC. Especially for my northern boys, try and get out not just for classes but to breathe in the beautiful weather we have today.

Music.
Music Has Been a Large Part of my life, and I wanted to see how it affected my psych so after very minimal research, I found a Havard study on that very thing that exclaimed
“Music listeners had higher scores for mental well-being and slightly reduced levels of anxiety and depression compared to people overall.
Of survey respondents who currently attend musical performances, 69% rated their brain health as “excellent” or “very good,” compared to 58% for those who went in the past and 52% for those who never attended.
Of those who reported often being exposed to music as a child, 68% rated their ability to learn new things as “excellent” or “very good,” compared to 50% of those who were not exposed to music.
Active musical engagement, including those over age 50, was associated with higher rates of happiness and good cognitive function.
Adults with no early music exposure but who currently engage in some music appreciation show above average mental well-being scores.”

Nurtrition.
Nutrition is mainly seen as a means to improve yourself physically, but it is far more than that. Something that I hope you get through this website is that physical and mental health are strongly interconnected with each other; someone who pushed me extremely hard to do this article was Brother Ansh Upadhyay, who has been researching the connection between Nutrition and Mental Health. Now I will let him talk through a brilliant slide show he made; the link will be here and on the Linktree, which you can find above.

Fitness.
This has been one category I’ve been saving because this is amongst the most important of them all; Fitness is usually seen as a physical fitness activity; people do it to get in shape and to feel better about themselves. What people fail to realize is the fact that it’s not the end goal that makes us feel better but the journey itself. The act of just going on a run or the gym in itself is amongst the most extraordinary medicines to help us manage our mental health for several reasons, reasons that are outlined in this excerpt made by the National Library For Medicine, it is a short but fascinating read, and I implore you to at least skim through it and see what it has to offer.

Deep Breathing
When someone is in a moment of panic, stress, or extreme anxiety, many people will tell them to “breathe.” It seems like it is the most basic but essential tool in the shed when it comes to dealing with our stress in times of great panic, that is because breathing gives us something to focus on, which in turn helps us calm down and think straight.
Below is a Link to a website showing you different breathing techniques and the benefits behind them for you to know if you are someone is having a panic attack.
